Our first Camping Trip
Ok gas prices are soaring and it is cutting into how we live and where we go........Our plan has always been to buy a camper. Well we wanted to do that while I was still working. So we did. We are very blessed to have places to go that are not far by a long shot. We stayed our first weekend at Arrowhead Campgrounds where we bought our camper..........Hey, we stayed free. Our biggest gripe was someone was to show us how to hook up to our truck and other things. No one did, so our camper is still sitting at Arrowhead.............The nice thing is that it is only about 15 minutes from home. I told y'all that we have places close by..........Our state park just about as far.
We are planning to camp on the other side of Donalsonville, GA and that is maybe an hour away.........I am so glad we did this and it is great to take our fur babies with us. They were really good.
Do you see Molly sitting at the table?
Jerry has always been my cook. Am I spoiled or what??
A 21 footer. Just the right size. I just love it. This is an Ameri Lite made by Gulf Stream. We have already made plans to go to Emerald Lake in GA with the couple who was camped beside us. That had just bought their Ameri Lite 24 ft the same week we did.

Ain't She Just Precious
I just fussed and fussed while I was making her. The 'G' hook and tight quarters was making my fingers hurt.
But when I finally finished her I fell in love....It will be hard to let this first 'little' bear go. But go she must. I am not going to send her alone so......
I will be making some more. There is just something about the first little bear that you make. OK so you noticed. I didn't make the muzzle a contrasting color..........But OH MY I love her anyway.

I am really proud of this one and so easy it was. I need to wash it and put a ribbon thru the eyelets at the neck for to closure. This is a pattern from Plymouth Yarn called Top Down Baby Jacket.
I used Plymouth Encore: 1 100 gram ball with make the 3 month size. There are more of these to do............

The Joy of My Life-Molly
This is my baby. She is a peek-a-poo-pom.........mostly Pomeranian with a hair cut. She gets groomed about every 6 weeks with a cut called a puppy cut. She is 8 yrs old and plays like a puppy. I must say that she loves her mommy (me) and is at my feet or lying next to me all the time. This is Molly's good side. She lost her right eye in a tornado that we all were in.
I just took this picture and wanted to add it to my blog...........Molly is the best dog that I have ever had and I love her. OH so does her daddy.

My 2nd Cuddle Bear
My 2nd Cuddle Bear............I don't think I like them done in dark colors. I am very anxious to get a crocheted Cuddle Bear made. Right now I am working on a baby jacket in Plymouth Encore. It seems to be going very well
I don't like the back side (bum)(bottom)(butt) of these bears but let me tell you; they sit very well. I am thinking about sending these to our group owner in MN for her nursing home. Not sure yet. I really need to give Dana a call.
Hey I still think that these bears are cute.

Up and Coming Project
This Cuddle Bear looks strange from the side because of the bottom. Really this is correct. If makes the bear very nice to hold close and love.
I need a little more practice on the face. I did it with worsted weight yarn. I also will be stuffing it more........This bear really isn't hard to do. I didn't have a picture with the pattern and when I was doing the bottom I thought there was something wrong with the pattern. It was right.
The Cuddle Bear Program is on going in Canada but there is nothing here. I know that I can't make all the bears but I hope to do 4 a month. The program is for these bears to be given to nursing homes for patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. I am presently waiting for more information on this worthy program and am hoping to get one started here through Loves Many Cloths. We are in the progress of field testing and this may take a little while.........since we need to have a few bears made. I will keep y'all posted as to how it is going.
If anyone may be interested in lending a hand when this gets off the ground please leave a comment.

No. 20 Afghan
I finished this in a week by taking it to work and going in early each day to work on it. I like the blues in this one. No. 20 will be going to Tucson as well as No. 21 when it gets completed. Love's Gal Kathy takes them to the VA hospital there............
This project will be ending for me after I finish No 21. I am moving on to something else.
