More Fragrance

Ummm, Honeysuckle growing in the azaleas. I wouldn't let Jerry pull them out because the fragrance is so wonderful. So now when we sit out at the camper it will smell sooo good.

4'oclocks get closer to blooming and wow, will they be pretty and so fragrant. Should be really soon.

Signs of Summer

Cone flowers sucking up rain water. These pretty little things will soon be leaving the area. Reserved for my 4'oclocks. Can't you tell what my favorite flower is?

4 O'CLOCKS

My favorite flower is ready to bloom and the wonderful thing about this one is that is will bloom every evening around 4 o'clock; hence the name 4 o'clocks.

I remember growing up in PA and my parents had these very fragrant flowers planted in front of our picture window that opened on the sides. When the windows where open the fragrance was fabulous. They made the most beautiful and colorful hedge in front of the house. And they are annuals and spread like wildflowers.

Memorial Day Weekend 2009

Did my best to get a photo of this rainbow. I know you can tell what it is. Actually it is a double rainbow.

Our Memorial Day weekend wasn't a total washout. It rained off and on the whole weekend but we were still able to cook and eat.

I must have eaten something that didn't agree because I really got sick Sat night and stayed in bed all day Sunday.

Then when we got ready to come home the darn slides wouldn't come in. Jerry found the problem; it was a loose wire.

Wish I got some more pictures. Promise to do better next time

I am ready for the next trip.

Molly Chillin'

Molly likes chillin' with me in our camper. This is her favorite spot laying on Grandma's quilt.

Ahh Tomatoes

Jerry is really excited about growing his tomatoes this way. They sure won't rot on the ground unless of coarse they would happen to fall off.

I am hoping to pick some wonderful tomatoes BEFORE they would happen to fall. This is a great way to grow them.

Latest KAL

I have been having fun making 2 new cloths a month in my Knit along group. This is the latest one. I am sorry that the picture is a little blurry but I am sure you can see the flower. The new stitch is a bobble over 2 stitches. That is the center.

Nice but probably won't make another one.

Our First Crop

We are so proud of these peaches and can hardly wait to eat them. Jerry took a taste today and they are not ready.

I think this is the 3rd year for our fruit trees and besides the oranges this is the first year for peaches. Oh my! They are sooo pretty.

Don't they look good?

Just Relaxin'

It is warm and DH Jerry is hot and tired after a hard day at work. We can feel the breeze sitting under the awning of our Sprinter and it is a really nice spot to relax.

Lucy is on daddy's lap.

Divine Hat

This was made for a Love's Gal. Debi doesn't crochet yet, so she requested this hat. This was a practice for me. Debi wants it in black and since black is a hard color to work with I decided to try it is a color that I can see the stitches. This was an easy pattern to follow so I am sure I can do it in the requested color which is black. Do you like it? I sure do.

Very First Hugs and Kisses Blanket

So proud of this one. It is my first very special blanket for Blankets for Deployed Daddies.

It is made with a cotton blend. I used Lion Brand cotton ease and size 10 needles. I think I will do my next one with size 8.

The measurements are very strick and are 14 x 21. I had a little trouble staying focused but looking forward to making more.
