Tenth lapghan

This is the 10th lapghan made for a soldier. This one is going to a veteran at Lake City. I have received thank you's from the two that have already gone to them. It makes my heart happy to let them know that someone cares. I thank my Loves4TroopsPlus group for making the squares.

Lastest Pair

I am really surprised that I can make socks. I never imagined using 4 or even 5 needles at once. Granted it is easier using 2 circular needles or also 1 long circular needle but for some reason I really like using double points. I love my KnitPick needles. The yarn slides so nice on them without falling off. This is my lastest pair of socks and I am impressed with how they look on even though I am still having a bit of trouble with a hole on one side of the gusset and the kitchner stitch. Oh the stitch is easy enough but I alway loose my place. Well that part is in the shoe anyway...........But I am really looking forward to making a pair without mistakes. I want to thank Stepanie Pearl McPhee for her book Knitting Rules...........This is the only knitting book that I have that I want to read cover to cover and in it she has the easiest receipe for socks....Thank you Yarn Harlot.
These socks are made with Knit Picks Essentials in Petunia with size 3.25 mm dp's...........with the baby cable pattern

Sometimes we buy something that just doesn't work for us. That is the case with these 16 inch size 6 and size 8 circs........They are too short for my hands. The cost was $5.95 each plus tax.........So if anyone would like to have them I will let them go for $8.00 for both or $5.00 if you only want one plus free shipping to anywhere in the United States........This purchase was an ooops for me and I hate to see needles not get used.
You can send me your contact info at
These needles would like to find a happy home.

Our Logo on a Cloth

This is our logo patterned by Susan Mrenna. She wrote the pattern for Loves Many Cloths.
She did a great job.

You can see Susan's patterns at She does beautiful work.............Thank you very much Susan We love this one.

Pocketbook Slippers

Looks like a little pocketbook doesn't it? So easy to knit on size 7 needles

Here is just one done. I have since finished the 2nd one. They will fit various size feet and are perfect for hospital surgery rooms.........I plan to make a bunch for Dana's hospital in Minnesota.

Scarf for a soldier in Iraq

One of our members is sending scarves to our troops in Iraq for Christmas. She will be sending at the end of September to beat the Christmas rush. This is one of my contributions

Our Shirts are Almost Done

Hey all, We are in the process of having our logo on our shirts.......I have been blessed by having a friend who does this professionally. Eleven of our members will proudly wear them

This is the logo as it will appear on the shirt. I am sorry but when I tried to make it bigger all it did was blur. Can't you tell that I am not a photographer. This will be put on women's polo shirts with our name on the right side if they elect to do that. We are really anxious to receive them..........A big thank you to B & J Custom Embroidery for doing such a fine job.
