Our Shirts are Almost Done

Hey all, We are in the process of having our logo on our shirts.......I have been blessed by having a friend who does this professionally. Eleven of our members will proudly wear them

This is the logo as it will appear on the shirt. I am sorry but when I tried to make it bigger all it did was blur. Can't you tell that I am not a photographer. This will be put on women's polo shirts with our name on the right side if they elect to do that. We are really anxious to receive them..........A big thank you to B & J Custom Embroidery for doing such a fine job.

I HAVE BEEN BUSY!!

Hey y'all.............I have been busy making more things for our Loves group. I finished number 8 lapghan which was sent to a VA Hospital in Lake City FL. I also did a tiny pair of socks for a friend and I am hoping to make some more for her. And I have been in the mood to make hats and I just had to model this one. So friends you see I have been busy.

Lastest afghan

I sure have been busy joining lately. This make our 7th afghan that I have joined for our soldiers. This wouldn't be possible if it where not for all the wonderful gals we have in our Loves group. They are doing a wonderful job.

We are getting ready

We have been talking about traveling when we both retire. Well first it was sell the house and live in a big camper. Then it was keep the house. I am happy to say that we are on our way to our retirement dream. No we are not selling our house. The first step of course is a truck to pull a camper. Well, that step is realized. We just got a 2007 Nissan Titan. It is plenty big enough to pull a camper. And yep, since I traded my car in, it is mine to drive. You should see me trying to park it. Oh I am fine at walmart. But it is hard to get in a parking spot anywhere else. It drives like a car. I just have to get used to parking. It won't take any time at all to really get the hang of it. In a year or 2 we will start looking for the camper. We want one that is about 26 feet long with a big back window. I have already seen the floor plan and it is perfect. So we are one step closer to our dream.

It is about time

Hey y'all I have really been slack in posting to my blog. Actually we have been quite busy. That is our Loves house. We have a new project "Many Squares of Love in the Loves4TroopsPlus room. Michelle and I are the joiners of the lovely squares that we have been getting. I have joined 4 afghans so far. We are sending to Landstuhl Germany for our troops on their way home. The planes are quite cold. Also some are going to United States Wounded Soldiers Foundation in Ohio while still more are going to Angels "N Camoflauge located in TX. So you see I have been busy. We still have our cloth needs also. Here are pictures of the aghans that I have joined so far. Be sure to look at the beautiful tag that our Loves sister Christine has done to put on the back of the ghans to personalize them for the receiver.

Oh almost forgot. We have 6 to make for a VA hospital in Lake City Florida. So busy we are.

Do you remember the big fire in Jacksonville FL that destroyed a new Humane Society and many pets lost their lives? It was so tragic. LovesManyCloths' Cuddles for Pets room reached out to help make the surviving animals feel special. We got together and made over 100 Cuddles (pet blankets) and sent them to Victor Blackwell, a reporter for the First Coast News. It was recently aired. Many Squares of Love

Loves4TroopsPlus is having a squares drive for our injured troops in a Landstuhl Germany hospital. These are 2 starts one crocheted and one knitted.

There have been some changes in the sizes though. These are the first ones. Using a larger size square.
