First Try DP's

Here is the start of my first try with double pointed needles. It is a shame that WalMart doesn't sell these. I want to thank my Mother for sending me hers. They are a size 7 and I am attempting to knit a baby hat. Now this hat is going to have something else that I have never done. there will be a little design knitted into it. Sure hope that I have patience enough to do it. My goal is to post this finished rolled brim hat.
